Maybe one of the tank drivers gave him a lucky hat.

Dave,

Who cares? This is as stupid a story as whether Kerry (who is actually running for President) spent Christmas in Cambodia.

Funny how CNN will investigate Arnold but nobody bothers to investigate Kerry.

I'll assume the story is true. Maybe the people of California should have him removed from office too.

Kerry hasn't come under any media scrutiny? That's classic. I wish to God they would investigate Kerry...they'd find that he's telling the truth, and we could put 90% of this smearing to rest.

I think it speaks to his character, or lack thereof.

From what I've been able to research, there never was a Nixon-Humphrey debate? What was Arnold's friend translating that caused him to declare, "Then I am a Republican"?

One would assume it was something Nixon said. Read the text of Arnold's remarks. He didn't claim he was listening to an actual debate.

I think it speaks to his character, or lack thereof.

I think the fact that he finds it amusing to humiliate, degrade, and harass women speaks to his character. But that doesn't matter...he can lift very heavy things! And he made a bunch of awful movies! And most importantly, he's a Republican, so he must have family values.

It's not fair to criticize Arnold for making movies, which were commercial successes in a $10 billion/year industry (box office alone) that makes up a big part of the California economy.

You don't criticize Corzine for making money on Wall Street, or Ted Turner for getting his start in advertising (billboards, in fact).

Is that directed at me? I never said anything about Arnold's commerical success. I said his films are crap, and I stand by that.

No, I don't. But what does one thing have to do with another?

When it's non-consensual.

That is another benefit of having one's arms chopped off. You cannot be accused of groping women.

When it's non-consensual.

Hmmm ... I seem to remember a Kathleen somebody, and a Paula someone or other who claim they didn't consent. The Paula one even got, what, $900,000 to drop her suit? A suit so bogus -- to use a term I've heard somewhere -- that the target resorted to witness tampering and perjury?

But those don't matter because ... ? Help me out here.
