When asked what time the debates started John Kerry said " They actually started at 8:00 before they started at 9. "

They are joint press conferences with no follow up questions.

Hey, I agree with Guy. We need to return to the era of "real debates" not to tv shows that have the candidates reciting from prepared scripts. I wasn to see real unscripted questions , the abiltity to question each other, etc. This whole 3 part press conference thingy is a sham and a disgrace.

Debate drinking game:

When Bush refers to 9/11: one drink.
When Bush doesn't answer the question and instead mentions 9/11: two drinks.

When Bush refers to Christ: one drink.
When Bush refers to himself as Christ: two drinks.

When Bush searches for an answer: one drink.
When Bush searches for Cheney in the wings for an answer: two drinks.

When Bush calls Kerry French: one drink.
When Bush means to call Kerry French but slips and says what he really means, that Kerry is gay: two drinks.

When Bush says Saddam had weapons of mass of destruction: one drink.
When Bush says Saddam and bin Laden were allies: one drink.
When Bush says we're better off now that Saddam is out: one drink.
When Bush mentions staying the course: one drink.
When Bush says the Iraqis are free: one drink.
When Bush mentions car bombs, insurgents, no elections, imminent civil war, lost cities, and utter chaos: Finish the bottle because right afterwards the world will end.

Another drinking game

When Kerry is for something, take a drink
When (later) Kerry is against the same thing, take a drink

When Kerry is against something, take a drink
When (later) Kerry is for the same thing, take a drink

Pass out, throw up (and don't choke on a pretzel)

Do not attempt to adjust your TV.

Kerry’s skin is orange.

Nothing is wrong with your TV.
