I hope Gerald Ford comes out in the next few days and says the same about New York as Carter did Florida. Nice pre-emptive strike with the lawyers at the ready.

Why? Is New York planning to have voting machines that do not allow for a recount? Have they changed their laws because they don't want to have to deal with the trouble of equal protection? |

And... Gerald Ford??? Are you kidding me? Perhaps the only President of our century less respected while he was in office than Carter. What has Ford done since his retirement? While I may not agree with all of Carter's politics, he does good work, for the most part. |
