This guy rules! I love him!

He's in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. He started to wear skirts to protest his school's policy against wearing shorts in non-summer months. Eventually he got sent home for wearing skirts. Then the ACLU joined the case, and now he's back, with some truly godawful combos!
Check out the video! It's even better because he's such a regular guy!

Many years ago, when we were fighting to change the dress code in South Orange/Maplewood to allow girls to wear pants to school, several fellows wore skirts to the JH and HS in support of the cause. It worked, but I don't remember if they had to leave school or not.

Good for him! And he buys the most god-awful skirts to boot!

I loved when the principal (or was he the superintendent) said he told him to shop "at Annie Sez or Dress Barn!"

I'm pretty sure that kids can wear shorts at CHS in the middle of winter if that's really what they want to do. And, although I can't say for sure, I'd be surprised if they sent a boy home for wearing a skirt also.

We did this back when I was in HS and our teachers had gone on strike, so our school year got extended out pretty well into the summer to make up the days. Those who wore skirts were made to change clothes and if they did not have a change of clothes they were made to go home. Nothing else ever came of it beyond that.
