I have a lot of work to do, in a relatively short period of time. I have tried to contact about seven highly regarded (through MOL anyway) businesses and about 2 of them have called me back. WTH?!?!!? Doesn't Business 101 include the courtesy of calling someone back who wants to give you money? I can understand that it is busy season. I don't mind being told that a schedule is filled and that you won't be able to do x for me in y amount of time. I can understand that. What I don't understand is not having my phone call returned. Heck, if you are that busy, leave it as a header on your voicemail: "Due to a large amount of projects, our people are not undertaking any new projects until such and such date." These businesses better wake up. Between lower raises, higher heating bills, and rising interest rates, people are not spreading the almighty dollar around as much anywhere. Consumers have to be very selective on where AND TO WHO the money goes too. This is not rocket science. There is always someone else just as, if not more competent than you, who is hungry, aiming to please and will give 140%. But don't call me back now, you have already annoyed me. And to those businesses that did call me back. I thank you very much and will be sure to give you some business. End rant |

I hear ya. Around here you have to beg people to take your money. MOL businesses have a MUCH higher likelihood of calling back, though, in my experience, even if they don't right away. Don't let it get you down- I still prefer the unreturned call to the "take your money and run"! |

Purple- If you called them over the weekend maybe they aren't in the office? I'd mention to Jamie and Dave who the businesses are in a PL. Maybe they have a suggestion? Good luck with getting your work down. |
