What ARE the Grammys, anyway? Is it like the Oscars for musicians?
I hope that they start an award for "most music downloads" someday - that'd be fun. |

Once a long long time ago, the Grammy's were a cool night of tunes. But with the explosion of awards shows they are all sucking worse in an effort to try to be "better" than the rest.
They are all too long and too poorly produced. But I do think peer recognition is admirable and that the concept of them is valid. What goes into the "who gets what" column is a complete mystery to me. It is so subjective.
Oh, and I see that twokitties is back, so nice to have it bring its own unique brand of, well for want of a better word, •••• to a thread. |

Not sure what the reference to twokitties is but I wasted part of my night on the Grammys. The biggest upset was sly and the family stone, he seemed so out of it. His music is still great though! |
