Now that ny father passed away I can name the hospital where the nurse punched him. It was Saint Anthony's Community Hospital in Walwick NY. This has got to be one of the worst hospitals my family has dealt with!
We hope after the state investigates our concerns the ICU nurse who punched and mistreated him will be fired and loose her nursing license.
This past month has been a nightmare! Hopefully the snow storm we're supposed be hit with this weekend holds off until my sister from Florida can get here on Sunday. |

I'm very sorry, too, JTA.
It can make a big difference if the team taking care of your loved one is competent or not. You don't need the added angst this nurse has given your family!

Thanks everyone for the thoughts. I tried to tell my mom this snow is because of my father! We were supposed to have his wake tonight and he was supposed to be buried tomorrow. Looks like the furneral director made the right call when he informed us Friday morning we had to postpone everything. Luckily he hadn't sent anything to the paper yet. Due to this being the time of year many schools have Spring Break, we having a hard time getting my youngest sister from Florida up here. I still don't know what's going on!
