Actually Robert and Michael kept things lively and I also miss them.
It always seems strange to me when someone asks for another poster to be banned, especially when the requestor is someone who throws the stuffing pretty good himself.

When someone like straw says something you don't like, you can't say "Straw is an idiot." You have to say "Conservatives are such idiots."

I don't have anyone specifically in mind, but there are some people in the world who CRAVE attention, be it positive or negative. For those sad individuals, being under a microscope is heaven. Think about Paris Hilton and you'll see what I mean.
Its really an interesting phenomenon. Something lacking in their lives, or their upbringing... some hidden demon that forces them to seek out the spotlight.
The way you identify these folks is to look for lots of bragging about how great their lives are: how much money they make, the famous people they know, etc... its a pretty obvious pattern.
Sort of sad, really. Like the aging actress who just can't accept the fact that no one is interested anymore....
... ah well, I'm rambling on here. Besides, I can't think of anyone I know that matches this description anyway.

I find it SO UNBELIEVABLY SAD how Straw can act like the town idjit insulting anyone he wants to and DAVE let's him get away with it. Fine, Straw clearly has some bizarre relationship with Dave. I've seen it time and time again. Whatever. But what is even sadder is that the punk who annoys everyone is too much of loser to take it. He dishes it and can't take it. Pitiful. Then to make the situation even sadder the little baby needs to run to Dave and get someone else kicked off the board.
Do you know how many times I've seen inappropriate actions by people on this board and didn't bother mentioning it to the moderators? VERY MANY...and a fair bit of them from Straw personally. The personal attacks he throws on a daily basis is ridiculous. And do you know why I don't report every dumb little thing to the moderators? Because they are just words. I can ignore them. I'm not two freakin years old, and I know that words can't hurt me. Unlike Straw...poor little Straws feelings were hurt. Maybe his mommy will kiss his bruise and make him feel better or come to his protection. HEY DAVE ARE YOU THERE FOR HIM!?!
Then when Straw does something ban-worthy Dave gives Straw a warning, rather than kicking him off.
Dave, please stop playing favorites to people wholly unworthy. I find it unattractive in a moderator. Straw you continue to be a giant lamer with a big head who THINKS he wields power. Grow up...please.
