I'm sick to death already of that armored car one from yesterday. Any new ones?

I always thought it would be fun to dress up like a superhero and run amuck and freak out some Maplewoodians. Maybe fight some some petty crime...

Put me down to handle the creation of a dozen different MOL threads on the topic.

True story: I lived in Washington Heights, and I was in the Chinese bodega. A little old lady opened the door just enough to stick her head in and see the newspaper headlines. She said, "Oh, new new murders?" and pulled her head back out and left.

True story: my father's friend was big on practical jokes. He bought himself a park bench, brought it to the park and sat on it. When he saw a cop coming, he picked it up and started running. The cop stopped him, and he showed the cop his receipt.

"Anyone want to get together for a robbery - any ideas?"

Hey, if you're looking for some excitement, I can always provide a little for you. It's not exactly robbery Mem, but if you or anyone's interested in stealing a few cars with us some night, we'll be happy to bring you along.

Actually, it's a real rush sneaking up someone’s driveway at 2 or 3 in the morning. Gets really interesting when the dogs start barking, especially the ones that they tie to the bumper. I hate when they leave a big old fat snake on the seat to try to keep us away...

I suggest you empty your bladder before you come out with us... it really gets hairy when the customer yells out the window, GET MY GUN...SOMEONE'S STEALING THE CAR!!!

If you're lucky we may get an order for a motorcycle belonging to one of the Newark Knights over on Springfield Avenue. They're always good for a laugh or two...

Art, you could sell that kind of excitement! And I'm finding it tempting.

Well, not a robbery, but there is police activity at Newark because of an MTD train with a suspicious package and the fire and police departments were swarming all over the library downtown a half hour ago. Never dull, never dull.
