Not sure which forum was best for this, but anyway: In honor of Black History Month, First Presbyterian & Trinity Church in South Orange will be holding a screening of "Mighty Times: Legacy of Rosa Parks" on Saturday, February 25th. This excellent 40 minute video was produced by the Southern Poverty Law Center and was nominated for an Academy Award for best documentary. It details the role of Rosa Parks in the bus boycott and its impact on the civil rights movement of the 1950's and 60's. The film will be followed by a discussion led by persons who were active in the civil rights movement of the time. The film will be preceded by a spaghetti dinner. Dinner tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for students. The dinner begins at 6:00 PM and the film starts at 7:00 PM. There is no charge to attend just the film.
