He's been on for about 8 minutes. I live in a small place, I have no choice but to hear all the details of the radiant heating he is installing.

I know it won't cost me more money because he is chatting away, but this is my time, too. I even took off from work for this appointment!

Pissed? Not at him. At me. Because I am in my own home feeling awkward. Not pleasant at all...

He finally hung up. He apologized for turning my living room into an office. Las the Brave declared Hmm? Oh, that's no problem.

So... go put some head phones on & listen to music or read a book (which you can do with headphones on and no music if you like) try out a new recipe, pay some bills online, whatever.

My piano is tuned! He's going with the concrete floor. I sat in my chair and knit the whole time.

Thanks for asking irl. He put the piano tuning on hold while he took the call. I kept knitting. My cat kept sniffing him.

I will tell you: when I sat down to practice this afternoon I got goose bumps - my piano has never sounded so rich. I called the tuna (on his cell) to thank him.

I will speak on behalf of Las.

Big Poppa, sometimes tuning a piano just means tuning a piano.

It would be very, very rude indeed if the decorator were to take a cell phone call.
