(let's remember we're talking about a dropped cigarette pack here)

But without a doubt, entertaining.

SLK do you beep when you back up like this??

You got called on your tactics. Tough guy with suburban kid, "street smart" guy with tough city kid. Big deal... you pick on people smaller than you. That is something to puff up about???

You best let this thread die as with each post you spin your wheels and get stuck a little deeper in the mud.

Now, go after those idiots who pull into the parking spots in town by making that illegal left turn...unless you are one of em.

right on Duncan. personally, that's how I "take on what I don't think is right in this world." I yell at guys who drive through the crosswalk when pedestrians are crossing, or turn left into parking spots. It's just my little way of sticking it to the man.

In my eyes not confronting the litterer on the train platform was more an act of common sense than lack of bravado. There was no way for the litterer to pick it up and a confrontation could lead to some one falling into the tracks. There no real satisfaction in confronting a litterbug who can't pick up their mess.

Like the commercial Dr OB?

Boss: "Its just my way of sticking it to the man"
Worker: "but you are the man"
Boss:"maybe"

SLK posts with his ego on full display. The world always revolves around his point of view, the only 'right' point of view.

I wont judge his actions with wrapper boy but I challenge anyone on the board to tell me that they never litter. We are all human and sometimes dropping that piece of paper on the ground, as wrong as it is, its what we do. - or dump that ashtray, or spit that gum, or leave that newspaper on the train.

I have never littered once in my entire life.

I challenge you to prove me wrong.

Ladies & Gentlemen,

You speak some truth. Whoever said I was denying my ego in my posts? But if that is the only thing you read in them then I feel really sorry for you.

But I get this funny feeling my politics have something to do with your reaction. If I was more, ummmm, "liberal-minded" you would have reacted much differently.

The next time you are at your war protest (in two weeks?)ask yourselves: Am I doing this because it is what I believe to be right or it just to stroke my ego?

Still, it is quite easy to do the right thing when you are in the safety a crowd...

Duncan-

No, it is called being truthful to yourselves and others and to stand up for what is right.

Next time I won't say ...f**k it...

I'm going to be truthful to myself and tell you that your politics have nothing to do with my reaction to your post, but your blowhardiness does.

SLK, you wrote:

Thank you Tom and you are correct, I am done with RL on this topic.

But then you said to RL:

RL, name-calling is an example of 1st grade behavior that you accuse me of, correct?

Your a classic passive aggressive punk, kid. The witty tough guy behind a keyboard or in a mass protest, nothing else.

That's name calling, and it's criticising someone's action by commiting the same type of act. Show you're a bigger man than he is by setting an example, not by giving him a taste of his own medicine. I believed you would rise above his level, but you haven't done so yet.

I am ignoring you. really. I am.

I mean it. I'm finished here.

You won't hear from me again.

When I leave, that's it. You won't be seeing me again.

Really.

Good doctor: good one.

Scrotis: You bet riding you about this had everything to do with your politics and none of the other objectionable aspects of your on-screen personality. Absolutely. No doubt.

aquaman: here's a cut-and-paste of one of Scrotis' finer posts from another thread, to answer your question:

"...not only are all African Americans criminals but they are also crackheads...."

RL - be fair.
SLK didnt really mean that, right?

I mean he seemed to be sarcastic, right?

I know he repeated it and all but he is from New York and has street smarts, right?

But why he would even write that drivel once let alone two or three times is beyond me.
