Somehow, I don't think the new "warning label" for the Soapboxes will help things.
I always thought that the "cure" should be to improve the ratio of conversationalists to scatologists. Scaring away people might not do that. |

When I saw the title of this thread, I WAS HOPING it would be about the new site restructure. Thanks Nohero. I totally agree. |

I agree. It was a quick choice I made while fixing a software issue. I made a change, but am open to other ideas. |

Good change. As for the larger problem, I think we have to be self-policing. For example, threads devolve into insult matches when one poster responds to an insult, with another insult. We can't keep other people from slinging insults, but we each can keep ourselves from doing that. And since the BOE election is coming up, is "Education" going to get a "More Heat Than Light" warning label? |

...these should be "HOT ZONES", both topics have always been full of arguments, and probably always will be! I totally disagree! Some of us need someplace to express our anger and frustration with the world and with some of the idiots who post here. Dave, stop trying to make this a perfect world, it's not! I think you have the warning right; if you can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen.... IMHO, the warning is totally appropriate to keep some of the pansies the hell out of here! Plus, scaring people away from the disgusting horse taking a dump is perfect here where most posters are full of crap anyway. However, keeping the "horse crap" and bad behavior off the other topics might not be such a bad idea Dave...

Dave, good work. I would be happy to help you police this site. You just need to provide me with what needs to be typed after the letters "su"

I rather thought that Education would be included in the HOT ZONE since so many threads bocome quite heated. |

I'd love the ability to control where the horse craps too. Unfortunately if he craps here, he craps everywhere. The same is true with the little Blew guy. |

Dearest Arturo, Hot Zones? I don't think so my friend. Frankly I'm surprised at you. Here, at long last, is the perfect use for one of your greatest literary moments: The Ring of Fire. And you blow it. You go with "Hot Zones". What's wrong with you? Are you still freaked out by that Topiary on the bus? |

JTA, those aren't little blue things. Those are Bloo's Poos. As for how they got there? Well Monster has been taking a big dump on MOL with his seizure inducing icons and graphics for years now. I thought it was time to do my own dumping. It would appear that Bloo thought so too. |

There is a major difference between expressing anger and/or frustration at a situation and directing this anger/frustration at each other. If more of us could learn to focus on the ideas rather than the personalities we might not ever need to consider designating some topics as "hot zones". |

I'm pretty sure those are Korean Alpacas. I'm sorry Monster, didn't you know that the Korean ones don't induce seizures. Nor do alpacas. Better luck next time. |
