"My Yahoo" is my home page for some dumb reason, something I need to change. On the login page they cycle between four "top" news stories every day, and I noticed that one of the Big Headlines Of Our Day is that a cat in Connecticut has scratched and bitten some people people.

Good grief!! That is so much more important than what is going on with Abramoff, the Israeli election, how many have died in Iraq, the threat of dwindling oil supplies, global warming, etc etc etc. Those things don't matter - what does matter is that a bad puddy tat is on the loose! Stop the presses!

as someone who searches the news daily for rampaging cat stories, i take umbrage with your complaint.
angry cats are the number one problem in the united states. there has been a study out of the cato institute that says the effects of feral cts on society translate to a 17% decrease in the gross domestic nimbers. this takes into account the medical expenses and lost man hours.
so next time you decide to whine about not getting enough news about world politics, the economy, or the environment, remember that pissed off cats are really what it s all about!

Was that study done by the Cato Institute or the Cato Nova Institute?

Highly respected puddy tat activist, Sharon Stone, says if a marauding cat is biting you, you should give him a blow job.

Or, more precisely, a bwow job.

This, of course, is only if there is no way to avoid getting marauded by said puddy tat.

I think this story made the local news here as well. I remember hearing a trailer for it but had to switch channels so I could see the brouhaha at CHS.
