Tell me about it!! I went and turned the heat back on!! I'm :bleeping: angry about this snow. Just when all the magnolia trees were starting to bloom, and all the bulbs were popping out of the ground!! Argggghhh!!!

I thought it was supposed to be MARCH that was in like a lion, out like a lamb, not APRIL!!!

It is snowing in Manhattan, on the East Side. Not sticking here, though.

actually cold weather is a symptom of global warming. as the ice caps melt they release more fresh water into the ocean. this water evaporates at a faster rate than salinated water. this creates more cloud cover which prevents the suns rays from heating the ocean at its normal pace. this causes cooler air masses to form, which when combined with the increased water in the air, form snow.

ta-da!

You gave the explanation and tom gave the supporting data. Not redundant. Thanks to both of you.

“Libertarian” is to “humorless, angry condescension” as “sky” is to “blue.”

OK, let's see if we have it straight.

I am

1. humorless.

You are
1. humorous
2. angry
3. condescending

Shall we leave it at that?

My graph was posted in response to Straw's predictably useless post, not to anything of Libertarian's. Sorry if you got that impression.
