Except that we were making fun of those people on Long Island (growing up in NYC) 25 years ago. They're not a new phenomenon, and they're not coming from NY. They're the exclusive province of the 'burbs. You could always tell the B&T crowd. |

Pippi (and everyone else).... spend the time to explore this website. Some of it is a bit subtle (and a lot isn't!) but you'll find the effort well rewarded... the photos and commentary are hilarious.

I just forwarded it off to a coworker who (reluctantly) lives in Huntington.
[I say reluctantly because 5 years ago he looked in Maplewood and fell in love with it. But he couldn't convince his wife to leave LI.... ] |
