Warning: The following message is being cross posted to spread the word quickly: Jamie has agreed to have a group from MOL march in the parade but he warns it will strictly be BYOB (Bring Your Own Banner). If you would like to march with other MOL posters, please either indicate by posting a message in the Memorial Day Parade thread in Virtual Cafe or send me a PL. Anyone wanting to march with the MOL contingent should be at the Columbia High School Student Parking Lot at 8:15 AM on Memorial Day. Since some of our newer posters may not recognize the group, an assembly space for MOL will be provided assuming someone expresses interest. |

Let me get this straight. I can march under the MOL group and tote my own banner. |

As long as your banner reads MOL or a reasonable equivalent. |

Or worse - Long, rambling, and ultimately pointless discussions? Oh, the humanity! |

The uniformed gentlemen in the parade picture on today's MOL E-mailer were wearing red berets not green berets. For those not in the know, they are the scouts from Troop 5 Maplewood BSA, who have been marching in the parade for many years. Look for at least two well known MOLers in their contingent this year. Wishing everyone a peaceful Memorial Day. See you all at the Parade and Ceremony! |
