I want to apologize for accusing you of trying to "out" me online. Re-reading the post I realize you weren't purposely trying to do me harm. I'm just a little sensitive about my identity being anonymous. The events we were discussing are still a very touchy subject with me and I tend to get a little (okay, more than a little) upset when I think about everything that happened, which is why I went a little overboard when I brought it up. I know we have a difference of opinions about what actually happened, and I also know we will NEVER agree about the person in question. No amount of arguing will ever make either one of us change our minds, so I'm willing to just drop the whole subject.
Again, I'm sorry for attacking your personal character. It was wrong of me to do so. |

K - it is people like you who perpetuate ugly stereotypes and reduce us to objects and second-class citizens.
We face enough oppression and marginalization without crap like that. Or perhaps because of that.
A little education:
I am not 5'10" with a 25 inch waist and double D breasts that need no bra. I do not have a flowing blonde mane that cascades past my shoulders. I don't wear size 2 jeans and I don't own a thong. I do not go to bed every night in stilletos and a silk teddy. My partner and I do not do it every night and we don't have a boy toy on the side for the "real thing".
The reality:
I'm 5'7". My waist is 29 inches and my breasts, which do need a bra, are only a D. My hair flows only to my shoulders and is red. I wear size 6 jeans and no underwear. I take my stilettos off before bed (why would I ruin a prefectly good set of Frette sheets?) and prefer to wear a cami and little shorts. OK, so they are silk. As we've gotten older, we've had to cut it down to every other night. And when we get bored, it's another girl.
So much for your stereotypes.
