Just saw on MSNBC that it is a domestic dispute and that the father has the baby and that the Amber alert is cancelled. Police considering charging the mom with making a false report. |

Actually that link must have been updated after I posted. (Check the time on the story (10:52) vs. the time I posted it (10:14.)
So, is the kid okay? Unfortunately there are several current stories of fathers killing their kids because of marital disputes. And then there's that woman from Irvington who was just sentenced to 40 years for murdering her husband's young children. How can people kill children (including their own) as revenge? I don't get it. Truly. |

Frankly I think the child should be removed from both of them. First what the hell is wrong with the mother filing such a false report (I hope she gets in trouble). With this she endangered the wellfare of her child by portraying the perp to be an armed and dangerous individual. Secondly the guy should be slaped silly for leaving his childs mother on the Parkway. And third, the poor child probably had to listen to hours of fighting before it even came to that. What a couple of selfish and pathetic people. |
