Hey, is this crazy? Maybe instead of being afraid of beers, maybe we should try to listen to what they are trying to teach us? That's what they do in Copenhagen, and in other advance European places. It's what I try to do. Whether it's a shaggy dark monster from the north woods, or a gentle blond beer from the alpine meadows, I try to learn all I can from them. Sometimes I even embrace them (silly, I know).

Anyway, next time a beer or a pack of beers visits your house or camp, instead of feeling afraid, try offering some chips or pretzels, and ask yourself "can I share my night with some beers?" The answer just might surprise you.

I mostly agree with you themp, with the exception being the '"problem beers" which are mainly of the species bud, coors & miller. They will be treated with much hostility whenever I encounter them as they have no positive traits.

I just love beer ...you gentle hold on to it, the chill that goes through you is just delicious and then with a flick of the wrist (ahem)you screw the head off.

The real problem is that we've developed all the beers natural habitats, I mean all these developers keep tearing down local taverns and building condo's!!!

LOL Cougar!!!

I for one think we should create a beer sanctuary up in the res. Lets hope the other "activities" will not get the beer skunked though.

You really need to be VERY careful about your exposure to a beer. From painful experience I can tell you that the pale ones tend to be less strong but they can knock you for six. The dark ones pack a real punch, but the daddy of the all, the ones that will have you on your knees begging for mercy are the stout ones....

I only hope you have good friends come to your mercy and carry you to safety after a meeting with a member of the stout family....

We do more harm to them than they do to us. Anyone who really gets mauled was probably being foolish.

Never break up a pack. I always encourage any stragglers to go in the same direction as the others until all beers are cleared from the area. I consider it my duty.

I have dedicated my personal life to help beer. It is so simple, it is made by the brewer (some call him/ her the chosen one)and release. All it wants to do is fullfil it's purpose in life. Is that so hard to understand. I dedicate several nights a week to ensure that at least one pack is fullfilled (or emptied). There is so much good one can do if one is only willing to sacrifice. I have dedicated Friday and Saturday to wine and Sunday to mojitos..

You know what they say...what goes around comes around

I am scared to death of the beers. The bloating and gas I get from my fear of them has driven me into the arms of...Wine.

Wine travels in racks. I prefer the red genus, but I'm affable to the white, blush and bubbly of the species. I always welcome a rack of wine to my backyard, or anyone else's yard for that matter. And Wine just loves brie and crackers.

On that note, I'm off to go make friends with a Rack of Wine on my neighbors porch.

Yum.

That mem is a lush...and gosh darn it I am pissed (in a nonalcoholic way) cause I just got home from work and can't join her cause the wench is off tomorrow and I got to go to work.

To be fair to all the other homeless booze that's been put on the shelf and hasn't found that special home: I have found a special place in my heart/stomach for premixed mudslides. It's a fairly rare breed but non the less it needs a home. Might fit that in on Mondays....I'm a gonna change the slogan for the good of a forgotten booze. Got mudslide!!

Bayou - you should have been there. Life is too short as you and I know.

What's up for tonight? I can do three nights in a row. I think.
