Sometime between Thursday afternoon and Monday morning over this weekend, one of the trailers that serves as a third grade class during the year and as a summer school room in the summer was majorly destroyed. The police were canvassing our street this week to see if anyone around heard anything at all during that time frame. Sadly we were not able to help Office Biez (sorry for the misspelling) He told us that the "kids" had broken into the class room and discharged the fire extinguishers, smashed up stuff to the tune of nearly 10K in damages. If anyone has any info on anything heard between Thurs night of last week and Monday morning (when it was discovered...please call the MPD Officer Biez or just leave them a message regarding the incident at Clinton School. First the idiots who set my backyard on fire three days before christmas two years ago, now this. One of the things the office stressed repeatedly was that if you hear ANYTHING AT ALL call them. They have computer systems in the cars such that while the dispatcher is talking to you, they are typing in the address where the call originated and the officer can be there in 2 minutes. This is the most effective deterrent of all, getting over the fear of insignificant calls. He said, when in doubt? have us check it out. So, if anyone who lives up here near me, heard anything between thursday night and Monday morning please call the MPD and tell them no matter how insignificant you think it might be. Thanks |
