Why do they give out parking tickets for parking after 2am when the last train from Hoboken doesn't get in until 2:20am? They should at least wait until the last train of the night drops off it's passengers before they start writing tickets.

Yes, I got a ticket last night but it doesn't seem right.

Well ... the posted no parking time IS 2:00 AM, but it does seem that it would make sense to adjust that according to the train schedule. However, posting about it here probably won't help. A call to town hall or emails to TC members might.

The police could certainly be a little more flexible in this situation.
In the past, I've called the PD to let them know I'd be late, and did not get a ticket.
