There's a notice posted at the train station tonight, stating there will be West Nile Virus fogging at 6 AM Friday, August 25th in Memorial Park, and east of the park up to Prospect Street. Other than keeping deep breathing exercises to a minimum, are there any other safety concerns that anyone knows of? |

Close your windows if you have pet birds or aquariums. |

I'm surprised this is being done at 6:00 AM on a week day when a lot of commuters are generally at the train station waiting for their train into the City. It has been my experience that such fogging is usually done at a time when fewer people are around. It would obviously be a good idea if you can to avoid that area for a few hours at least. |

Is this the first time a West Nile spraying has occurred here in Maplewood? |
