Banner headline on the CNN.com homepage "CNN Pipeline presents CNN’s original TV coverage of 9/11/2001 free, in real time. Starting @ 8:30AM. Watch Monday" WHY?????? Why would I want to watch this again? Like we didn't see enough of it? This is pretty disgusting

It's so sad to see 9/11 get continually used, in this case to promote the CNN Pipeline service. EDIT: To the person reading this, would you watch? |

Forgot to say: I think that this footage would be legitimately interesting at some point to someone that hasn't been born yet. There's no need at this point to replay footage. This close to the event, it really won't have any impact besides opening barely healed wounds. 20 years from now, it'll be a different story. |

No way will I watch it - that's sick I'm sure it will be hard enough to avoid replay coverage on other stations...maybe a good day to skip tv |

http://www.cnn.com/feedback/cnntv/ This is the link to contact CNN. You do not have to register. I just sent a scathing e-mail letting them know what I think about their reprehensible, opportunistic "journalism". I agree with P37 and the rest of you. |

I don't know... since I was in the city and trying to get out of the city at the time, I have never actually seen this coverage. I actually might be interested in seeing it in this regard. Am I a bad person for that?

wnb - I don't know about you, I was subjected to days and days of replays on TV right after it happened. Lucky you for somehow avoiding that. I saw it in person and then was riveted to CNN in the days that followed. I have seen my fill of it for a lifetime. I do agree with P37 that there will be historical value in the future, but the future isn't 5 years.

Actually...I'd like to see the full day's coverage. I missed it A because I was in class when the first plane hit. And B. because the principal pulled the schools cable after the building collapse so that we couldnt watch anymore. DOn't be so hasty to bash it, MOL'ers. |

They've shown it before, and I found it fascinating to watch it unfold in the context of knowing what we do now. (I saw it in person, too). |

I know if I watch it again, I'll have the same reaction that I did that day and for the weeks following: anger and utter sadness. When I opened Explorer just now, CNN's picture regarding the 9/11 movie was there-complete with people running from the collapsing buildings. I thought it was something new. I had that horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach for one split second. I thought about renting United 93, but I don't think I can watch any of that yet. Or ever. |

I saw a decent chunk. But to be honest, greentree I wasn't really moved then and I'm not really moved now. Humans do a great job of killing each other and I'd sort of come to grips with that by 9th grade so the only thing that scared me at the time was the possibility of a nuclear incident. |

so jaded at such a young age If you were there and saw people running for your life, I would hope you'd be moved. I am glad you weren't there to bear witness.

How is everyone feeling about Monday (9/11)? I was in the train station that day and watched it live and I am getting the same feeling that I had that morning....sick to my stomach and very uneasy. |

Oh, good God, no! I was surprised to hear some people here do want to see it, and respect their reasons. But for the most part, I wish they would refrain from playing any of this stuff in the tri-state area. Including 9/11 the movie. I loved it when the Beastie Boys put out an album later, with a drawing of New York on the cover, and left the WTC in. |
