(see the Education section) My Soapbox is against multiple postings of the same thing - which invariable degrades the discussion, whatever the topic may be. If something has been posted in the wrong place, a polite request to Dave or Jamie will sometimes result in moving the thread, if appropriate, but reposting it just fragments the discussion and makes it more difficult for everyone to follow the reasoning, respond constructively, etc. I do make exception for urgent matters that merit wide exposure - i.e. loss of a treasured item, urgent need for some sort of service, etc., but this certainly doesn't qualify.
