Author Message   Joan Supporter Username: Joancrystal Post Number: 6858 Registered: 5-2001 Posted on Sunday, January 1, 2006 - 8:56 pm:        The first meeting of the Citizens' Budget Advisory Committee of Maplewood will be held on January 4, 2006 at 8 PM at Town Hall. If you have ever "had a cow" over municipal taxes, expenditures, and/or programs, now is the time to step forward and put your time and expertise to work reviewing and commenting on the municipal budget for this coming year. During the January 4th meeting, you will learn about the work of this committee and the skills especially needed by the various subcommittees (which are much more varied than a background in municipal finance, which really is not necessary) and be given an opportunity to sign up for membership on the sub-committee(s) of your choice.
