Come on over for a night of really good blues. We'll start between 8:30 and 9:00 PM.
Al is one of the best blues guitarist/singers around. Trust me on this one.

I'm loving it. I used it at a gig the other night and it was great. Not sure if I'll use it on Saturday or one of my other kits. I put all new heads on the Jungle kit and it sings!
I have it in my living room right now for practice.

We made it down there for the opening 5 songs or so. Good stuff. Love the unadulterated sound of a Les Paul.
H2TA has to mix it down a little in there though. Couldn't hear the bartender or my wife when they talked to me.

But I love the new look of the place and you guys sounded wonderful. Plus, an establishement that has COLD O'Douls for us Friends of Bill. That is a big bonus.

Thanks, Duncan. Volume is an issue in such tight confines. The fact that the shape of the place is that of a tunnel makes it even more difficult. Another factor is that Art's keyboards on stage force us to put amps all the way in the front. If the musicians could move back onto the stage more, it would really help.
We'll work on it next time.
Glad you made it though. Art's is a musical treasure and I hope that folks around here support it. This town was desperate for a good live music establisment and now we've got one.
Thanks to all of you who did come out last night. We'll be back again in soon.

Jerry, its not your fault, it is architecural.

And you are right H2TA is a great place. I was happy to see that many folks there! Hope your future gigs get bigger and bigger turn outs!
