What,no Byrds fans out there in Mpl-SO???

What a great show on Friday night at the Congregational Church in Montclair. Something religious about 600 people singing along to Turn, Turn Turn at the end.

Roger sounded terrific, had the 12 string Rickenbacker of course, and 2 other non-electric guitars and a banjo. Really is amazing to see and hear someone who plays amazingly well.

But I was so much older than, I'm younger than that now (ok, I know it's Dylan, but the Byrds did the difinitive version)

I wish I could have been available to attend. The Byrds were my first favorite rock group. They hit the charts about year after the Beatles, when I was in middle school (junior high school in those days). I was completely swept away by their folk-rock sound and the genuine folk roots of their material. I still listen their ablums as well as McGuinn's solo stuff.

And you are right -- they do have the definitive version of My Back Pages.
