All Hands on Deck! The NJR Festival players are putting out the call to all pirates, rogues, smugglers, revelers and wenches to take part in this year’s summer event, “The Pirates of Tortuga,” taking place every weekend this June at Tulip Springs Park, South Mountain Reservation in South Orange, NJ.

There are many acting roles available for men & women ages 18–65, ranging from ruffian to aristocrat. Sword/fighting experience a plus but not required for all roles. We are also seeking singers, dancers, musicians, jugglers, and other various wandering performers to entertain the masses.

It will be a day of action, comedy, games, swashbuckling and revelry. Come be part of the fun and experience the adventure of the Golden Age of Pirates!

The NJR Festival Players is one of the largest theatrical companies in New Jersey, having sponsored the NJ Renaissance Festival & Kingdom, The Haunted Village, and many other corporate events. We are renowned for providing theatrical entertainment suitable for all ages, and have performed for thousands of patrons in the last 17 years.

We welcome you to join us for auditions:
