If you missed THE READER at the Library or at Here's to the Arts, or the other local screenings then take heart. It can now be viewed from the comfort of your own computer.
Simply GO HERE

On the front page, in the left hand column is one link to the film. Alternatively if you click on the DRAMA category and scroll down you will find it there.

Also, I would love it, if any of you check it out (and really why not...it is only 10 minutes long) if you would leave a review on the site.

The site is run by a guy who is considering helping me produce my first feature and if there is lots of activity with the film on the site then.....

So go, check it out, and (hopefully) enjoy it.
The Reader has now won 5 awards, counting yesterdays Directors Citation from the Black Maria Film Festival.

This is great
good luck with this; I'll make sure to go and post when I have a minute.
(even though I have already seen and enjoyed it).

Let's get this noticed online, folks

I sent a note, but I encourage you folks to do so if you have the time...

info@clickflicks.net

ask them how you are supposed to review a film? That seems like a no brainer and it may be that it is so obvious they forgot to put that on the site.

Also...watch JACQUES...it is FANTASTIC

I had some problems viewing the movie using Mozilla, dang popup windows, Quicktime isn't implemented yet, the page that comes up to view the movie in may not be coded to standards, because when the movie file is called the right side of the window doesn't refresh properl, leaving what was there from the previous window, I hate it when this happens.
So I just used another browser and it worked better, but I didn't want to view it in a browser window, so I found the direct link for the movie and opened up the url with Quicktime (yes I know it's a wmv file, but with Flip4Mac installed I can view wmv files with Quicktime just fine), and let it download, then watched it.
Well it was still in windows media format, so I converted it to Quicktime and trashed the wmv file.

Oh, you mean review the movie, oh-oh-oh....
Well, since I'm not the best with words, I'll just say that I liked it, it was good, and any time you can get a pretty lass with an accent in the movie, it goes up a notch in my opinion, but hey, I'm a guy.
Oh yeah, did I say it was good, and that I liked it.

Excellent. I especially enjoyed his use of plumbing as a metaphor in the opening sequence.

I didn’t like it at all. An elderly blind woman’s sister dies, and the reader lies to her so her feelings don’t get hurt? As an act of love? Someone please explain this movie to me. Thankey.

Thanks everyone.
Just as an FYI...The ability to review is now operational at the site. I encourage all of you, especially aquaman, to leave their thoughts if you have the time.

I am sorry you didn't enjoy it Aquaman, but at least it was only 10 minutes long!

Just had an email from a friend and lo and behold I am listed on that site, for now, as a rising star. Who knew? Wonder when it will set.

Thanks to those that have taken a look and left a review. They are piling up and I appreciate them all.
