Why do Bob and his father have a gourd-headed scarecrow as their only laborer? And he used to work for the father? So he is ageless, I guess? This goes beyond such matters as having talking trucks, which is understandable; it makes what they're doing clearer and is acceptable poetic license.

But a servant-scarecrow? Are they sorcerers? Where the hell are they, anyway, Australia? Are there no young men there?

I think Bob the Builder is dumb! I had this misfortune of suffering through a tape for the first time about a year ago. But, since my youngest two nephews breath BTB, I'll keep smiling and act like he's the coolest thing since sliced bread when the kids are around.

And the real Bob the Builder has an almost incomprehensible Manchester accent. This guy we see here isn't Bob; the accent is integral to who he is, the tea swilling, the constantly misplaced cell phone, his refusal to read directions. Thank goodness Wendy is really in charge.

Nobody drives the trucks. Only one "employee" that's a scarecrow. I think Bob couldn't work with the union. Look in the background for the giant inflatable rat.

also have you noticed he never rides in the trucks - always hitching a ride on the side.
