Does anyone think Aaron is dead? Or was he really "transferred"? If he's dead, I'm going to start getting mad...they are killing too many characters this season....last night Heller, then a few weeks ago Tony and Edgar, then of course Palmer and Michelle...now Aaron? No way. Plus common wisdom is that Audrey is toast too because apparently she signed some deal to star in a series on ABC in the fall. THis is getting out of controll. At this rate it will be just Jack sitting in a room with a gun and a walkie talkie or something (no, make that a cell phone that somehow mysteriously never runs out of batteries). |

They wouldn't bring in the actor DeVane (that's the name, right?) just to kill him off. And my bet is Aaron is being held somewhere. |

I think Devane is still alive as well. ffof, doesn't matter how big the star is, for ratings anyone could be killed off. |

I'd like to think Heller is still alive, because I love that character, but Audrey and Jack both seem to really think he is dead. Jack is not one to be fooled. Surely that car was going too fast as it went off the cliff for Heller to have jumped out? I think he's dead. |

Chloe using the taser on the guy in the bar was great! Hail Chloe! Only Jack would know to cut open the one panel that would contain the wiring for the rudders(?) 4 more episodes to go! |

Now Jack can add hijacking a plane to his long list of adventures. Nothing stops this guy. Remember when he held up a gas station in Season 3 or 4? |

If he doesn't play that freakin' tape recorder to someone over the cell phone so they can record it I'm going to stop watching this show until the next episode. |

How about even checking to make sure that the recording is even on that recorder that he just hijacked a plane to get? Unless I missed something, he just smiled and stuffed it into his pocket--what if it had gone through the metal detector and been wiped out? What if Henderson had sent a plant out, knowing that SuperJack would bust through concrete to get the recorder back? |

Silly ESL, he gave that recorder a good glare, and since SuperJack has X-ray hearing he simply knew it was intact. |

Why does Jack even need the copilot to fly the plane? Jack flew a plane a few seasons ago (with the nuke) and he can also fly a helicopter! Maybe he's not checked out on this particular model? |

Don't worry, Super Jack will take the controls and land the plane safely. Remember, the co-pilot in the coming attractions said something like, I can't get us out of the dive. Enter---Jack to the rescue! |

I think the dive he was referring to is the biker bar that Jack took him to so he could interrogate him away from the Homeland Security thugs on his trail. Jack is also the honorary head of Hells Angels and has access to all their best hangouts. |

Did you notice how Jack never loses that messenger bag he carries with him? Never.... I mean with all he's been through, he still manages to grab that bag of his and he's had it since the first episode this season. I've left my purse all over the place - dressing rooms, work, etc. (which is why I hate carrying purses - I always forget I have one with me). What's in that thing anyway? |

Mr Zoesky1 and I call Jack's bag his "Jack purse." It's his little bag of tricks. We like to wonder what the hell is in it....i'd love to see an itemized list. It seems like it must have all his little emergency doodads, like that binocular thing he uses, flares, knives, guns, rope, GPS, god knows what else...at the rate he runs around, maybe some Power Bars and BandAids. |

Well the preview seemed to indicate she didn't. What could Miles have done in that short a time, waved a strong magnet near it? That'd be kind of low-tech for this show. |

Damn it! We came SO CLOSE to that damn president offing himself. I was so glad he was going to be taken out of it. What I want to know is, how the hell is Jack going to find those weird guys (led by the former Rocket Romano of "ER" -- who besides me keeps thinking it's the same character?) telling the president what to do? No one even knows those guys exist, let alone knows where they are. |

I think Miles had some kind of "red light blinking thingee" in his hand that may have erased the information. I would hope that Chloe made a copy on her computer first before working on it - we'll see... Doesn't Miles remind you of the kid in grammar school who never got picked for anything and would always tattle on his classmates? He needs a kick in the head. |

Miles definitely waved some kind of object in front of the computer. That little twerp was definitely up to something. I knew the boss lady (Karen?) shouldn't have told him. That was a no-brainer we could all see a mile away. |

re: that Romano guy -- Jack will hijack a helicopter and crash it into him. What's with the Bierko subplot resurfacing? Usually the early villians disappear without a trace. My favorite line from this last episode, "If it wasn't so horrified I married you I might actually be impresed." |

I agree with Ffof. There must be a good reason to have Bierko resurface. He may be the only link at this point to Romano. Maybe we'll get lucky and a helicopter will fall on Romano's head ---- just kidding (isn't that how his character on "ER" died?) |

In ER Romano was hit by a helicopter not once, but twice. The first time, he lost his arm. The second time (with a "not this again" look on his face that made me laugh despite the sort-of tragic nature of it) killed him. That's why I suggested Jack, who who has stolen a helicopter in every season so far, put him in the Guinness Book of World Records for Actor Most Frequently Hit By A Falling Helicopter. But if they're willing to steal stuff from Mission Impossible, maybe they're probably willing to steal from ER too. |

I have always been a huge Aaron fan. Last night he really got a chance to show his stuff, pretty much for the first time ever, I think. How awesome was it when he very honorably and stoically ignored the president's weak entreaties to wipe this all under the rug, knowing they'd try to snuff him out if he did? |

Jack tried to choke him. Unfortunately, Jack was stopped. Miles has been transferred to Washington. It wrapped up quick as Bierko was getting away. Also unfortuantely for me, I was being spoken to during the last 5 minutes or so and didn't really see what was going on. I guess the submarine is being hijacked by him? |

Bierko & Co. dropped the nerve gas canister into the sub and sealed the door. About 10 seconds later (the real-time thing has broken down a little) they popped the hatch and went in, entered the password provided to them by the bad guy Jack had grabbed earlier, and got conrol of the sub's missile system. As the clock ran out they were loading MIRVs into the launch tubes. |

Given the supposed real-time pacing of this show, it looks like the President's about as good a lover as he is a President... And THE CHINESE! I didn't see that one coming! Whoa... But I'm happy to wait until January to get sucked into this again.
