Wendy -- I love when people give me an opening!! FAST AND FABULOUS FAMILY FEAST!! At the SETH BOYDEN AUCTION THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 18, 5-7 pm (auction till 9 pm) Eat to enjoy – eat to get generous – but please, eat! We have a delicious catered buffet planned for you and your family including Caribbean and Portuguese delights from local restaurants Homemade Cuisine and Burnett Barbeque to satisfy your palates and warm up your pocketbooks! Come “dine-n-dash” with International Night Favorites -- Chicken Curry, Jerk Chicken, Grilled Ribs, Steamed Potatoes and Carrots (Portuguese Style), Plantains, Mashed Pumpkin, Fresh Tossed Greens, Rice and Peas and home made desserts… And, as always, LOTS AND LOTS OF PIZZA ALL REASONABLY PRICED (so you can spend more down the hall…...) This is free admission, right? We went a couple of years ago and it was a lot of fun. Many of the baskets were in the $15-50 range. We got some certificates for local merchants and professionals at or below usual cost. My daughter insisted on bidding on all of her favorite teachers' items. The food is a great addition. We'll be there! |

Included in the live auction items: VIP Tix to the Daily Show, Tix (and a night in NYC Hotel) to the David Letterman Show, a day athe Museum of Modern Art capped off by dinner at Union Square cafe, great Nets' tickets, a week this summer at a Green Mountain vacation home, 4 days at a Block Island beach house, a week at an Orlando resort, a week at a lake house in the Poconos, a jazz and wine tasting party-among many other offerings--not the least a night of music for your shindig supplied by the great Logistical Nightmares--now that's worth bidding on! |
