I am a sucker for Springsteen. There was this special on Ch. 13 tonight. It was live show, London, 1975...unreal. He's so talented & such an amazing songwriter. I couldn't see the whole band, but there was a good amt of bandmates backing him up. Does anyone know when Steve Van Zandt joined in? I think Patty joined sometime in the 80's. If anyone saw the special, how amazing was "She's the One?" Amazing harmonica open! |

That live show is on a DVD, that is part of the 30th Anniversary release of "Born to Run". Apparently, the film sat in storage somewhere for nearly 30 years. The line-up in that concert is basically the "classic" E Street Band. On a personal note, I was unable to see them live until the summer of 1978, at which time they had graduated to arenas and larger theaters - so I really enjoyed seeing that filmed performance. A CD of that live concert is going to be on sale in the near future, by the way. |

I saw this last week. I was up with my son at some ungodly hour. I was flipping the channels and when I came to Bruce, my son took notice. We watched it together. I really enjoyed it. I think my little man did too. |

Saw them live in 1975-76 at Kean College Townsend Center which holds about 1500 people, and at Seton Hall in the auditorium. Capitol Theater in late '76. That band was just amazing in a small venue, but even better in the big ones. truly sublime! |

The outfits are priceless. Miami Steve is truly pimptastic. It's amazing to know that he works pretty much as hard now onstage as he did then. |
