I remember that day pretty well. Was in college, Nirvana had just played a show close by. Inital radio reports were that it was an OD'd house guest. "oh those wacky cobains....."

I liked his music.
He made some really REALLY really bad choices.

I feel very sorry for his child.

Radical Kiba, you should check out the Pixies.

Buzzsaw,
Yeah, he made some awful choices in his life. I know people who know his kid frances, and apparently, she is INSANE. (no surprises there.) Thanks for the tip, but I'm already on it. I LOVE the pixies. :D Surfer Rosa is my favorite album.

Innisowen,
If the topic bores you, then why post in it? :/

That miserable b#$%^ wife of his just sold off 25 % of Nirvana music for approx. 50mm {she controls 98% of it}. The company who bot it agreed to develop her music as part of the deal. I'm sure Mr. Grol is thrilled.

Mr. Groll has nothing to complain about. The guy is still alive and the leader of a wildly popular rock band. It's the bass player dude, I feel bad for.

Mr. Grohl's words about Mr. Cobain:

Too alarming now to talk about
Take your pictures down and shake it out
Truth or consequence, say it aloud
Use that evidence, race it around

There goes my hero
Watch him as he goes
There goes my hero
He’s ordinary

Don’t the best of them bleed it out
While the rest of them peter out
Truth or consequence, say it aloud
Use that evidence, race it around

There goes my hero
Watch him as he goes
There goes my hero
He’s ordinary

Kudos my hero leaving all the best
You know my hero, the one that’s on

There goes my hero
Watch him as he goes
There goes my hero
He’s ordinary

Neil Young's Sleeps with Angels is a great album and was prompted by Cobain's death.
