LOVE the show, but for some reason izzie really bugs me. she's always got some weird/annoying issue going on (not that i should talk...i've got my own!) but, she just irritates me. anyone else?

also, i am hard pressed to find a show so perfectly cast. - love mcdreamy & dr. burke & love sandra oh's character (hysterical.) - and i do think izzie is a good fit, she's just got to get past her issues.

also, anyone else watch/like the show?

Love the show. It is one of the best dramas on television IMO. It makes me laugh, cry.....

Izzie's issues will strike some, while George's will strike another. About the most issue-free character is Preston Burke who started out seeming like a tightly-wound brilliant-but-unfeeling surgeon and has revealed himself to be much more. Great show- it's about the doctors, not medicine. reminds me a bit of a medical "Paper Chse".

I think it's a fantastic show -- both well written and well acted. Have been watching it since the pilot (since I figured that any show with Sandra Oh had to have something decent about it) and have enjoyed watching it unfold.

Yes, the character of Izzie has some serious issues. Grew up in a trailer park, estranged from her mom, gave up a daughter for a adoption when she was 16, modeled underwear to put herself through medical school. It's issues like these that add to a character's complexity.

George is the one whom I am finding annoying right now.

McDreamy, of course, is just dreamy.

First hospital show I have been able to watch. (Bad memories/experiences with them). Like best Sandra Oh character, Dr. Baily, the chief, actually like Addison better than Dr. Grey herself, who I find the most annoying character. Like Dr. Burke much more than McDreamy. George is a little loopy but can be amusing. Don't like the loud background music/singing at the close of the show which almost overwhelms the dialog. Izzie I could take or leave.

MLJ- I like Addison, too. I think they purposely make her likeable and Meredith whiny so as to divide your rooting interests. Burke is much more self-assured than Shepherd, and and all-around better character. And Bailey is the best; she's like a tiny little force of nature.

So I missed last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy and tuned in this weekend to find that "Life of Brian" show. Is Grey's over for the season? What happened last week?

That's the problem with long TV seasons and fewer new episodes each season. They do it with Lost also.

Very irritating.

Grey's... isn't done for the season; last night was just a preview of the Brian show.

LOVE IT! It's funny...Meredith is in some ways the most boring character on the show...her mother and father issues are of no real interest (she's kind of a wierd actress anyway...do you remeber her on an OLD Law and Order when she killed her sister and her sister's friend because she was into some wierd "rough" sex thing with her boyfriend...she came off so namby pamby...which is how she still is IMHO). Anyway...love Bailey, love the chief (an alcoholic!?!?), love Addison, and everyone else too.

What About Brian.....What About Grey's Anatomy -- I HATE when the networks bump my favorite shows for something new or move it to another night/time. Is Commander in Chief gone ? Remember long, long ago, when a tv season had all new shows every single week from Labor Day through Memorial Day. Nowadays, we're lucky to get a dozen new shows in a "season". Makes it hard to be a loyal fan.

It was Boston Legal. TS has boycotted Grey's Anantomy because of it since episode one. I only last one episode of the boycott, which means that I've never seen episode 1 of Grey's.

Greenetree -- I'm sure they've already repeated episode one -- tough luck.

Its just that there are soooo many baaad shows they could pre-empt withour anyone even noticing.

Aok - yes, I am annoyed by the same thing, i.e. for many years, a tv series had a new episode every week, and reruns only during the summer.

Can't not like Izzie for some very shallow, obvious reasons. But George is my favorite character
