Anyone from Maplewood or South Orange featured? I just saw a two-dads-family talking about adopting in N.J. They said they were the second to do this. I got two dads around the corner from me who did the same. Our community should have representation on this show. Anyone I should look for? J.B. |

Well, my (straight)friend was part of the entertainment on board tho I don't know if she is featured on the show. Currently in Washington Heights, I took her and her husband on a tour of SO/Map last year when they were looking to move to Jersey. . A New York cabaret singer, she was invited by Rosie to sing on the cruise. She went with her mom and 2 year old daughter and they had a blast. Great family vacation. |

I caught it on HBO the other day. I was so incredibly moved by it. I really applaud Rosie for all she does to advance the rights of gay and lesbian couples and families. There was a great article about her in last week's New York Magazine, too. |

Our family watched it the other night and our daughter saw three couples that she knows from the area...(not necessarily from Mplwd/SO). What a wonderful show with real insight to how wonderful children fair in a home with loving parents.

So, no 15 minutes of fame for any of our SO/M families? Too busy working to pay our taxes to go on a cruise? J.B. |
