Each year the town has bands playing on falt bed trucks on like tuesday or sunday nights or something like that each week during the summer... i play in a cover band playing some stevie wonder, jimi hendrix, ewf and other stuff like that... i wass wondering if anyone had any information on where i might be able to submit a demo to get onto that bill... any help would be appreciated |

Wednesday nights in July is the traditional schedule. I don't know when they do their booking, but Andy Brady at the Baird Center should be able to put you in touch with the right person. |

You should hook yourself up with Art at Heres to The Arts. Also, I think Jamie coordinates on the talent. They also do Maplewoodstock in the summer, so hop on that train! If you play Jimi, I expect you to do the Star Spangled Banner at Maplewoodstock. An added bonus would be Voodoo Child, but I'm not gonna' hold you to that one.
Speaking of Jimi Hendrix, I just got that Woodstock concert they released last year - I had no idea he played that long, incredible! |
