any predictions on tonight's show? i'm thinking...dr. burke can't die. he's too great of a character & he's not about to pull a david caruso. izzie??? i doubt they'd write her off or she'd leave, but this is a tough one. i doubt the whole staff would back her up on this? meredith & mcdreamy - the show will leave you hanging on this one, but i doubt they'd write off addison either. she's become so much more likable since she first came on. |

I would be surprised if Dr. Burke character dies. (what is reference to David Caruso??) Meredith & McDreamy - they can have each other already. Like Addison a lot and am tired of the tedious b-s between M& McD. Yech. Maybe the nice vet can meet Addison, tho she would look down her nose, sad to say. At any rate, she should tell McD take a hike. Do wonder what will happen to Izzie, what a crazy thing to do to the patient/boyfriend. She should be arrested. Also maybe her machinations contributed to putting Burke in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I think they have to keep burke- its a big part of developing yang's character - you know- get to her sensitive side. (she's my personal favorite- what a great character- must be a lot of fun for Oh) I think izzie might go- her character (though she's great) isn't really that developed or crucial to the show. I don't think they've been able to make the izzie and alex thing work as much as they would have hoped. I am counting the hours till tonight's show though! Whatever actually happens will be great and well done, I'm sure. what about george? how will he respond to the I love you- if at all?

I know, but I'm not telling.
and don't forget if you're setting a DVR or VCR to record tonight, the president's speech will delay the start time by 20 minutes. |

I think that Izzie is going to do her thing to the patient/boyfriend, but he signed the DNR so she is going to be forced to allow him to die...... Yeah the MCDreamy and Meredith thing is getting old. Let them have each other, or let it be. Burke....dead. |

No, no -- Burke must live! I think his character has evolved on the show as well. He used to be a total hardass, but we saw his human side come out. Plus he is a gifted surgeon. Far better to get rid of Izzie for her blatant mistreatment of her patient. At this point, I would rather see Meredith with the vet. Hell, I would rather be with the vet. Addison became much more likable, and therefore, has really become sympathetic as well. Since McD has been less attentive to her, he is the one becoming less likable. |

yeah, the meredith- mcdreamy thing is a little old - they should probably all wind up alone why didn't izzie just use a clamp on that cord, the scissors are so permanent add that to the dnr and its definitely curtains for denny.

Whaaa, I cried! I liked it a lot, thought it wrapped up enough loose ends, and my feeling is she goes off with Derek, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see, heh? I'm kind of glad Denny dies, yes it was sad but I could see him getting really annoying. I wonder if Izzy is gone too. I kind of wouldn't mind, but it could go either way. Why was Meredith wearing panty hose? She weights like 90 pounds! Boy Derek got them off of her really slick. Gotta wonder where her undies ended up. Or not. |

It looked as though Izzie quit, but we will have to wait until next season to see if that is true. VIG, Meredith was wearing stockings, not panty hose! Amazing how they even stayed up. I felt bad for McVet, waiting for Meredith to leave. But all in all, it was a good ending, even though Denny had to die. We all knew it was going to happen, but still. Alex rocked at the end. |

Saddest part, by far, was the dog being put down. It seemed a little goofy to me that Izzie had the clear head to play prom dress up and leaving her beloved Denny alone after a heart transplant. Ridiculous. The dreaded M and McD saga, now in a cliff hanger - gag me. And what was up with the p-hose removal scene. Was that supposed to be sexy? And Christina's strange behavior towards Burke after his surgery, acting so coldly. Very strange. Maybe I am just too old, um, I mean mature, for all this stuff. |

I like the Cristina character even more after that. Its not the soap opera-y thing. She's so totally out of her element when she has to do the relationship- personal thing. its great- I think that relationship is my favorite - its interesting and you don't always see it coming. |

Would Christina would have been so detached if it was one of her colleagues, say, Meredith instead of Burke? And will I ever get a life? |

I love this show, but I really thought showing them putting down the dog was jumping the shark...there only to elicit a completely unnecessary emotional response from viewers. There was enough stuff in the show already to make everybody laugh and cry. |

looked like pantyhose first to me...if those were stockings, he was very manually adept (then again, he is a surgeon) and if they were panties, they were very long...she later said that she couldnt find her panties. It was pretty un-hot as a sex scene I thought...in fact, it was more uncomfortable than sexy. and frankly, Id go for Addison before Meredith. the dog scene was very good I thought...juxtaposing their relationship with the dog's illness.

No, there were definitely pantyhose or stockings. And Hank is right, if they were stockings how could he possibly remove them with one hand? Pantyhose, yuck! It was uncomfortable for me too, mostly because I was scared someone was going to barge in on them. |

Um, couldn't she have put panties on over the stocking holder or been wearing thigh-highs? I recall them as being panties (being removed).

I took the pains to review the tape over lunch..it was black panties being removed, so not pantyhose, but stockings. I guess I wasnt looking so close. Id still take Addison over Meredith though. |

There was an "extra scene" shown on Good Morning America the next day - it was a scene between Meredith and McVet where he compares the dog dying to Meredith and Derek's relationship. Sort of spelling out the metaphor for viewers. I guess the producers felt it wasn't necessary. What do you think about the move to Thursday next season?

In the new season(s), I wonder how long the characters can be portrayed as interns. They would have to move on in their medical careers once the program has been completed. That would change everything. |

I seem to recall that the internship is a seven year program. That leaves the door wide open for at least 7 seasons of this show. Red - where does one find this life of which you speak? |
