I am not a fan, in fact have never seen an episode of AI, but I would be really pissed off at you if I were and had tivo'd the show. |

Bets-
I am willing to bet anyone who watched this season knew before I posted who won. We didn't watch it either. We have it on Tivo to watch with the kids Friday night. But the radio stations were talking about it shortly after the show ended, news stations announced the winner, it's on the AOL sign in screen, on Yahoo, Netscape and lots of other places. |

Plus, it's in all the newspapers this morning...not that I've read ALL the newspapers but I did read about it in the New York Times (of course) and while at Tara's for my morning caffeinated fix, I browsed the other paper-based news distribution vehicles and it was front-page news. |

Yeah I know LL! But, I didn't really ***watch*** it. Just the last few minutes to see who won.  LOL!!! I was really mean to the boys this morning when they woke up. They asked who won and I told them with a very straight face 'Kat.' Boy were they mad! After a couple minutes I told them Taylor!
They were funny because they both said 'You did get tickets for the tour, didn't you?' I asked why they would think that? Besides, I tell them, mommie said she doesn't know the schedules for your All Star Games and said you can't go if you have a game; which you won't know for at least a couple weeks. Wouldn't it be stupid to buy tickets for something you might not be able to go to? Both of them said they wouldn't play their game if it was the same night as Idol.
Some of the radio stations were playing Taylor's song "Did I make you Proud" this morning. Couldn't find it online last night. Bet it's there now.
Little do they know I did buy them tickets. I plan to get them the CD as well. The concert will be their birthday present (along with a t shirt and junk food at the concert). At least this won't cost me more then $800 like the stanley Cup Game did a few years back! |

If you still have the show on your TIVO go back on watch Prince. It was a nice surprise in a really bad show. He appears just before the winner is announced. |

Fox has to do something to spice up the show next year. It was flat. I recommend that they cross-market with 24. Jack Bauer will show up and kill the contestant each week who is voted off--and for a bonus, he will also shoot Paula the first time she jumps up and starts cheering to the crowd. |
