I'm watching it now- man, this is great sh*t! This show is just no-holds-barred entertainment. Like "The Sopranos" used to be.

Rescue me is the best show on television. Denis Leary is so underrated. He is brilliant. The look on his face as he was building to his explosion at the end was incredible. You could feel everything he was feeling and he didn't say a word!

Is Garrity the best? I nearly died when he "saved" Buttons the Horse! Poor Probie- he really is having trouble sorting it all out, isn't he? And Uncle Teddy, the Prison Folkhero- "I gotta go-Sloppy Joe's for lunch".

Love Rescue Me but I'm completely befuddled by the critical acclaim Entourage has received.

Does Tommy ever take the jacket off. Whos hotter the ex or Marisa ? The 2 probies bring nothing to the show , Tatums great. I'm sick of the fat loser. The guy that plays his brother is a star.

Tommy's ex is definitely hotter than Marisa.

What fat loser are you referring to? Lou? I love Lou!

They're all losers, that's what makes them fascinating. Janet, Angie or Sheila? Pick one, they're all hot! We just don't know what variety of nut case Angie (Marisa) will turn out to be. Sheila is as out there as it gets, and Janet gets raped and decides she likes the rough stuff- strange and stranger.

Garrity is the true crack-up...clean up in aisle four! Loved when the firefighters all leaned in to check out the "ugly baby".

Or how funny was he showing up with a white bunny? They're all such great characters.

So the Probie is gay? And too clueless to know it?

Loved the sleepwalking, the bunny was too funny.

It will be interesting to see how the Probie thing turns out. He is obviously gay, but I don't understand what his roomate is trying to do with him.....

I think the Probie being gay thing is monumental. I mean, it will be fascinating to see how these guys, who are so macho, so neanderthal -- at least on the surface -- when it comes to sex, and so presumably homophobic, will be toward a gay man in their ranks. I mean, remember how they treated that woman firefighter? They have such affection for the Probie, yet how will that fare when they find out he's gay? This could play out for weeks, maybe not come out (literally) until next season. I think it's gradually building as a thing where Probie will realize he's gay, then maybe try to keep it a secret, then maybe it will be disclosed next season.

They are doing a great job with the story line. Hey; what happened to the woman firefighter?

On the show, the woman firefighter ("Laura") transferred to another firehouse after a sexual harrasment thing with Lou. On one episode, he called her a name no woman wants to be called (a four-letter word that starts with a "t") and then through another few episodes he refused to apologize to her. It was kind of a big long storyline, but ultimately boiled down to the guys not takig her seriously enough as an equal.

In reality, the actress (Diane Farr) was having physical problems resulting from all the equipment they have to wear and the physicality of the firefighting scenes, and had to bow out.

Tommy's got a rough life....and then again, NOT! Well, it IS Hollywood (ahem, NY)

So, I don't think the probie is gay (not that there's anything wrong with that). He has been consistently confused and easily manipulated by strong-willed people. He seems much more at-ease and happy when he is with a woman.

Did you notice that the crazy guy that he saved from season 1 is in the TD Bank commercial that airs during RM?

Some pissing contest, eh? What a riot!

The uncle in jail is a riot too. Great show

I enjoyed the Lyres song that played when Tommie got date raped, along with the previous subtle Bostonisms that Leary gets into the show
