Any recs for a place to have lunch near Penn Station that is nice for a baby shower? There will be eight of us from work, and we wanted to do a "nicish" restaurant.

Forno's of Spain, Ferry and McWhorter. About two blocks east of Penn Station.

A little farther but not too far is Markt, a great funky Belgian restaurant.

There's also a 'Korean street' near Penn -- can't remember which one, exactly. Two minute walk from the station, with a row of nice Korean restaurants to choose from. I'm sure someone else can chime in and give you specifics.

Wilkanoid, I think you're talking about K-town - it's around there, btwn 5 & 6ish... I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mandoo Bar, and I saw it on the food network the other day at my friend's as one of the best places to get dumplings on the east coast, but I already knew that! Tell us how N&S turns out, Red.
