I'm sorry, the name of the gallery is called ASHTAH's. It's a couple of doors down from Topf's Pharmacy.

How long will the exhibit stay around? I will be in town after the 17th, and would love to see it.

The quilts are BEEEEAUTIFUL! The very talented women quilters are members of the Nubian Heritage Quilters Guild and will be on display until June 17th.

Are the quilts for sale or just for looking? (I love unusual quilts, and don't have any of the nubian variety)

Yes they are, except for one (of which a poster of it is for sale - $25.). There is a program booklet at the entrance with information and a price list. There is also a couple of quilts that have a hand painted design applied to the fabric and quilted over. One of them used the colors of Monet. There is a great variety of styles. It's a must see for those who would like more exposure to the African-American experience in art.
