We're going to Saturday's show, and were wondering who else was headed down for the show. Anybody interested in meeting up pre-show?

We're traveling that weekend, so we didn't get tickets to the PNC show. It's a lousy venue, but it should be a great show.

We will be down front in "the pit" at the Madison Square Garden show this Thursday, however.

And, been getting psyched by watching the song videos posted on AOL Music, "18 Nights of Bruce" -

we went to one of the rehearsal shows, and it was a great, fun show. PNC is going to be perfect for us because we got lawn tickets, and we're taking the kids. if they don't make it through to the end, we'll be ok with leaving, especially since we've seen this show once already. you're really going to enjoy this show.

We're also taking the kids and have lawn seats for Sat. night. I've never been to PNC before - do you bring blankets? lawn chairs? Is it worthwhile to get their early for good lawn-space?

we took the kids to a show there last summer, and we had a hard time finding any spot at all. with kids it's a good idea to get inside and get some lawn space a bit early, probably 7 at the latest. definitely should bring a blanket. lawn chairs might be a bit of a pain, since you may have to walk a long distance from your parking space, or take a shuttle bus.

Any idea how to find out if this show will be rescheduled on account of rain? PNC Arts Center has one of the worst websites I've ever seen! And calling them got me nowhere either.

PNC rarely cancels a show because of rain-there are covered seats so the show goes on for them-the lawn seats are cheap because if it rains you are SOL but no refunds since the show did go on...two summers ago I had lawn tickets for James Taylor and it was a monsoon that night-so we lost the $$ but he still played...they showed on the news the people covered in mud who still went and sat on their lawn seats. I highly doubt it will be cancelled tonight...

PNC rents lawn chairs at a minimal price -- and often gives tickets for them to the first x number of people arriving -- though I don't know what x is.

Have fun

Holy cow....after POURING all day long, the rain miraculously stopped just as Bruce & the Band were into the first song and we stayed dry all night.

What a blast we had out on the lawn, with our 4 year old dancing and singing along all night! The show has definitely tightened up since the "rehearsal" I saw back in Asbury.

The band's going back on the road in the fall. So far, they've announced dates in Ireland.

So, with any luck they'll be back around here by the end of the year.
