He absoluteIy is the classiest leading man out there. I adore Brian Stokes MItchell. Saw him in Kiss Me Kate and I've been a fan ever since. Wish I'd seen him in Ragtime. |

He was wonderful in Man of the La Mancha. You can imagine that incredible voice singing "Impossible Dream." Truly dreamy!! We saw it when there had just been a snowstorm in the City. What an experience... |

Saw him in "Ragtime"- he was outstanding! Off the beaten (Broadway) path, he also had a recurrent role on "Frasier" which pitted him against the titular character as an equally obtuse neighbor. He lights up screen and stage equally. |

Give his new album a listen...not only did he sing but he arranged the orchestrations and played some instruments. New takes on classics from broadway and not. |

Wow, Brett...is that so? I wasn't a religious Frasier watcher...had I known he had a recurring role I would have tuned in more frequently hoping he was written in for that episode. Tulip, wait until you hear his version of Sondheim's "Being Alive". Yowsa...I am developing quite a crush based on his magnificent voice and vocal styling! Not to mention he looks GREAT on the CD cover... |

I also think he was phenomenal in the concert version of South Pacific. If you could choose a role and a show for him, what role would you want to see him in next? - I guess it would have to be a revival. I'm having trouble coming up with the right one. Can you picture him as the King of Siam? Billy Bigalow? Curly? Maybe as the Pirate King in the Pirates of Penzance? |

Tony in West Side Story...WSS is long overdue for revival. Keep your fingers crossed. |

I'm afraid he's a little too old to play that part, and although I'm no vocal expert at all, I think that the part of Tony doesn't fit his voice. I could be way off base. |

I think he's sort of a baritone, or even a bass, and Tony is definitely a tenor part, although he definitely would have the range. It's just that his voice is so strong in the baritone region. |

Yeah, he's a baritone...but he has a high range. I don't know, I kinda think he would be perfect for Tony if he were 10 years younger, maybe. Officer Krupke? (I love West Side Story...Bernstein, Sondheim, Romeo & Juliet...it doesn't get any better!) |
