Author Message   tulip Citizen Username: Braveheart Post Number: 3614 Registered: 3-2004 Posted on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 - 7:39 pm:        I recommend this exhibit at the Metropolitan if you are interested in such things as anthropology, archaeology, linguistics, sculpture, folklore, textiles of Guatemala and Mexico, hieroglyphics of ancient, pre-Columbian cultures; jadeite, obsidian, ceramic material culture, Mayan history...It's a marvelous show, with a nice film accompanying it. "Treasures of the Ancient Mayan Kings"
