Syd Barrett, founding member of Pink Floyd, passed away at 60.

Very sad. I'm moved to think about last year's PF reunion at Live 8, and how Roger Waters dedicated "Wish You Were Here" to the one person that couldn't join them.

Oops! Great minds and all that, eh?
His solo stuff was pretty out there, but engaging nonetheless. It's remarkable that despite all of the bad vibes that broke up the band, they're all still very respectful (and wistful) when discussing Syd. |
