Is anyone else out there listening to Penn Gillette's hilarious and delightful "Monkey Tuesday" show from 2 - 3 PM on 92.3 FM? Monkey songs, smoking monkeys, biting monkeys, sticky monkeys, Monkees, monkeys, monkeys, monkeys!!!

I LOVE Monkey Tuesday - particularly since most of the stories are about Great Adventure NJ. My husband worked with Macaques (sp?) in grad school and his advisor, ill-directed monkey-crazed man that he was, wanted to give us a monkey as a wedding gift. Um, an animal that lives for 50+ years, throws its own dung and has razor sharp, 4 inch teeth? Sure!!! Thanks!!! Wasn't on the registry, but thanks! Not! I loved the story about the grip who was "marked" by the Lancelot Link chimp and later attacked. |

I loved that story too! You have to call in with your monkey stories - what a horrible wedding present! Penn wil love it (Boss) - I actually have an archive of monkey stories since MT came into existance, What can I say? Oh, here's what I say: Pops - they're so much like us! |
