I just got Pink Floyd's "Pulse." It is a recording of the 1994 tour which I saw at Giant's stadium. It is, in a word, 'hypnotizing.' |

The video is nothing short of brilliant. Incredible setlist that includes a FULL performance of "Dark Side of the Moon". Nice to hear "Astronomy Domine" flowing out of "Shine On" (a touching tribute to Syd). I've enjoyed the videotape (remember those?) and CD set (the LED finally stopped pulsing two years ago) for years. Can't wait to get my hands on the DVD. |

Cool. I saw the show at Yankee Stadium in '94 and it was absolutely amazing. A stunning show. I'm going to have to pick this up. |

Check out the Making of Dark Side of the Moon DVD. Netflix has it. Anyone seeing Waters in September? |

dave23 - is that different from Live At Pompeii? I think that was filmed while they were making Dark Side... Gilmour's solo live DVD is the opposite of Pulse, and a perfect companion recording. It's a stripped-down acoustic show performed in front of a small audience. He opens the show with "Shine On", just him and his guitar - just amazing. Some surprise Syd covers, a great choral group backing him, and some all-around wonderful playing. |

Yeah, it's different. Was made fairly recently. Very cool behind-the-scenes stuff. http://www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?movieid=60030169&trkid=189530&strkid=1792961 246_0_0 |

I LOVE Live At Pompeii. Their performance of "Echoes" is fantastic. |

Gilmour has a DVD of his most recent tour out already? I liked that album (cd). Waters really needs to step up his solo efforts. The last one I really liked was Radio KAOS.

Sorry, it was from 2002. No album at the time, he apparently just felt like playing some shows: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006LI4S/sr=1-1/qid=1153925474/ref=pd_bbs_1/1 03-6684526-8217469?ie=UTF8&s=dvd I have an audio rip from the DVD, shame they never released it as a live album. Waters recently released his opera ("Ca Ira"), which kind of came and went. Thanks for the link, Dave - I've added it to my Netflix queue. |

"The Making of Dark Side of the Moon" is also wonderful. Amazon has the making of "Wish You Were Here." |

I loved KAOS at the time, but it has not worn well. Amused to Death would have been a lot better if it were shorter. Love Pros and Cons. He released two songs recently which were good. One is called Leaving Beruit, interestingly enough. |
