FYI- For those of you who like their clothes, they just opened a huge store on South Park, across from Leone's restaurant, around the corner from Raymond's on Church. It's on the ground floor of one of those great older buildings - they did a pretty amazing job with the space. |

That's awesome - Urban Outfitters has really funky clothes and just stuff in general - I've only been to the ones in Harvard Square and Burlington VT. The only problem is they're a bit pricey, but I'll definitely check it out. |

If you shop there, you will become uncool very quickly. People will glare at you. Monster won't even talk to you. http://urbncounterfeiters.blogspot.com/ |

I think their clothes are very overpriced and very poor quality for the prices they are charging. I much prefer the Spanish chain Zara in NYC.....(a pity that the other Spanish chain Mango (MNG) isn't in New York yet although in other parts of the US, although you can buy online with free shipping and they have a huge sale on right now: http://www.mngshop.com) ....and hooray! the hip and inexpensive British fashion chain "Top Shop" is planning to open a huge store in Manhatten next Spring. European fashion stores tend to change - and have a greater variety of - their stock much more frequently than the American ones....all the clothes in places like the 'Gap' are all the same and on the racks for weeks before turning over to a different style. |
